Update!
The issuing agency for the EAN codes in Germany, GS1 Germany GmbH, has recognized the signs of the times and offers the service of EPS creation via an online form.
It also costs a little more. You pay 150 euros for 10 barcodes, but you save a bit on the environment because no CD comes in the mail, but the EPS files are delivered by email.
